The present Law enters into force on the date on which a Ministers’ Cabinet Ordinance shall be issued and published on the Official Gazette.
Abstract

Aim of this Law is the regulation of production and use of eggs for hatching and poultry chicks. The Law is promoted for the harmonisation of Cypriot legislation with the corresponding legislation of the European Union. The basic provisions of this Law provide for: (a) the establishment of criteria for the possession, transport and use of hatching eggs and live poultry; (b) the way of operation of each production establishment, that is to say the granting of a distinguishing registration number
