Abstract The present Law implements the Federal Act of 4 October 2002 on population protection and civil protection. The Police, fire brigade, health service, technical enterprises and civil protection grant the population protection by cooperation in a combined system. The partner organizations of civil protection: a) protect the population and their livelihoods against large loss, disaster and emergencies; b) provide rescue and help; c) contribute to deal properly with consequences; d) work together with other security areas.
