Abstract

These Regulations provide for the control of the importation of plants and related items for purposes of plant health. Regulation 3 defines the application sphere of these Regulations. Save as is provided in regulation 8, no person shall import any growing medium or plant, including any unmanufactured plant product specified in the Fourth Schedule or seed specified in the Fifth Schedule, unless a permit authorising the importation of that growing medium or plant is submitted.
