Abstract

This Act makes provision for the definition, registration and protection of plant breeder’s rights and sets out conditions and procedures for the assignment of such right and related denomination of plant varieties. The Act also designates the Seed Control and Certification Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture as the plant variety protection authority.
