Abstract

These Rules, consisting of 12 Chapters, one Schedule containing several forms and under section 29 of the Pesticides Ordinance, 1971, regulate all the activities related to pesticide, such as: registration of pesticides; Conditions to be fulfilled after registration of pesticide for manufacture and formulation; Import of pesticides; Licence for manufacture/formulation, stock, repacking, sale; Advisory Committee functions; packaging and labelling requirements; Government Analyst powers; Conditions for storage and transport of pesticides; Safety standard precautions; including fees to be paid to perform such activity.
