Pesticides shall be registered under section 5. Importation, manufacture, etc. may be carried out only with a licence obtained from the Licensing Authority. Importation of adultered or misleadingly or incorrectly labelled pesticides may be prohibited under section 9. Other provisions deal with labelling of pesticides (sect. 10), appointment of a Government Analyst (sect. 14), Inspectors and their powers, procedures of inspection (sects. 15-17), offences and penalties (sects. 21-23), forfeiture (sect. 25), power to make rules of the Government in consultation with a Pesticides Technical Advisory Committee (sect. 29).
