Abstract

The present Ordinance introduces some amendments to the Ordinance on early infant food and successive feeding (BGBl. II No. 68/2008). In particular, article 4, paragraph 5, is, inter alia, amended establishing that if a follow-on formulas is produced with a minimum protein content, the suitability of the follow-on formulas for particular nutritional use for infants shall have to be demonstrated by certain scientific studies taking into account provisions on the use of protein in infant food contained in Annex 6.
