Abstract The Order sets regulations for disinfectants used in premises and equipment which may come into contact with food in food businesses, milk producing livestock, and on board fishing vessels, with storage of fish for more than 24 hours. It also applies to udder and teat spray intended for udder hygiene in milk producing livestock. The Order shall not apply to disinfectants to be approved under Chapter 7 of the Act on Chemicals Substances and Products No. 115 of 26 January 2017. Electronic request for approval of disinfectants shall be submitted to the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration via www.fvst.dk. Approved substances shall be marked with indication of bactericidal, fungicidal and bactericidal and fungicidal functions.
