Abstract This Order applies to fishing, landing and transport of mussels in Denmark, with exception of the Wadden Sea - which geographic delimitations are detailed in Appendix 1. Production areas for the harvest of clams are divided as shown in Appendix 2. It is permitted to catch mussels only upon authorization from the Danish AgriFish Agency and to specific fishing vessels (equipped with digital/electronic registration and data notification facilities, and with an engine power of no more of 130 KW). Fishing in depths of less than four meters is not permitted and may only take place from 1 hour before sunrise to sunset - however between 06:00 and 18:00 only. The Agency may issue rules on cessation of fishing and changing conditions as mentioned in Appendix 6 of the then-applicable regulations governing the fisheries regulations in 2014-2020. Authorized minimum size of mussels is of 5 cm., it is not permitted to fish in Limfjord coordinates listed under articles 13 and 21, and from Thursday in week 27 to Wednesday of week 36, and on Sundays.
