Abstract

This Order approves the Regulation of Action No. 3.1 and 3.2 for «assistance to sylvo-pastoralism». It consists of 20 articles and 7 annexes establishing the requirements to improve the aforementioned forestry sector as follows: a) promote and improve economic, ecological and social functions of forests; b) increase forestry areas, with local reforestation according to the natural habitat; c) improve infrastructures of forestry sector, in particular applying protecting measures to be in order to avoid forest fires; d) combat soil erosion, weathered soil and promote forestry ecosysytem reconstruction; e) preserve biodiversity and establish different use of forest lands; f) promote the potential of sylvo-pastoralism production.
