This Order enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of 5 articles and one Annex, establishes wine-grape varieties suitable for wine production in Portugal which are included in the list annexed to this Order. It specifies that only the grapes listed in the attached list may be planted, replanted or grafted. The addition of wine-grape varieties to the attached list is done by the Institute of Vine and Wine, I. P. (IVV, I. P.), verified the conditions legally required and heard the certifying entities, associations and federations representative of the wine sector. The removal of wine-grape varieties from the list is done by ordinance of the member of the Government responsible for the area of agriculture.
