This Order enters into force on the day after its publication.
Abstract

This Order, consisting of 2 articles and one Annex, establishes the wine-grape varieties suitable for the production of wine and wine products entitled to the designation of origin of the Douro Region. It establishes that for the production of wine susceptible of obtaining the geographical indication of Douro Region, other wine-grape varieties and related nomenclature may be used, recognized as suitable for the production of wine in Portugal, in accordance with the provisions of Order No. 380/2012 of 22 November. The Annex specifies the wine-grape varieties suitable for the production of wine and wine products entitled to a designation of origin or geographical indication of the Douro Region.
