Abstract This Order sets regulations on fishing for salmon in the Greenlandic fishing territory west of Cape Farvel in NAFO area 1. Salmon fishing outside 40 nautical miles from the coastline is prohibited. Commercial fishing for salmon require a fishing and sale thereof licence (art. 3) which is issued by the Greenlandic Government. Fishing is permitted only by hooks or nets with a mesh of of minimum 140 mm. All non-commercial salmon fishing must be reported to GFLK (Greenland Fishing Licence Control).
