Abstract The Order applies to commercial coastal fishery for halibut with vessels below 75 BRT/120 BT and for fishing quota in the area within a line limit within 3 miles from the coast line. Exact coordinates are listed under article 2 of this document. Commercial fishing for halibut in management areas Upernavik, Uummannaq and Disko Bay are not permitted to vessels larger than 19.99 GRT/31.99 BT. Based on biological consultancy the yearly quota for inshore fishing for Greenland halibut in the four management areas shall be established by the Greenlandic government. For management areas Upernavik, Uummannaq and Disko Bay, separate quota for vessels over 6 meters LOA and for vessels over 6 meters LOA or less shall be established. The Order also sets regulations regarding method of fishing whereby it is not permitted to use trawls nor nets.
