This Order enters into force on 20 June 1997.
Abstract

The Act aims to ensure appropriate and biologically sound exploitation of hunting resources and applies to conservation and hunting of caribou (Rangifer tarandus). It is a protected species which can be hunt under specific criteria which include: total allowable catch based on authorized quota, season hunting permission between 15 August and 10 September, issuance of hunting permit, hunting methods restrictions, and identification tagging for catch.
