This Order enters into force 28 days after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
Abstract

This Order declares that the Manganuioteao River and its tributaries include and provide for outstanding wild and scenic characteristics, an outstanding wildlife habitat for the blue duck or whio (Hymenolaimus malacorhynchos) and an outstanding recreational fishery.
