Abstract

These Regulations define, for purposes of section 12 of the National Water Act, the procedure for determining different classes of water resources, for determining the Reserve and for determining water quality objectives with the goal to ensure the ecological sustainability of all water uses by taking into account social and economic aspects of such uses and competing interests of users.
