Abstract

The Minister of Water and Sanitation, in compliance with the Water Act and its related regulations, determines a reserve for all or part of every significant water resource within the catchement of the following river systems: Crocodile West and Marico, in the water management area of Limpopo. Some relevant terms are defined, including: baseflow, class of water resources, ecological categorisation of water resources, recharge, reserve. Several attached tables include explanation and details.
