Abstract

These Regulations implement the National Parks and Wildlife Act 1972 by providing for conservation of whales and dolphins in the waters of South Australia. Part 2 is dedicated to whales, in particular it contains provisions on the interaction of vessels and aircraft and whales, swimming and whales, the management of the Encounter Bay restricted area. Part 3 is dedicated to dolphins and porpoises.
