Abstract

Anti-epizootic expeditions for combating fish disease are set up by decision of the regional, territorial and provincial administration for the purpose of ensuring permanent veterinary service of big fishing water reservoirs, cooperative and state fish-farming establishments and other organizations. The main tasks and activity of the expedition are organization of veterinary arrangements for the prevention and liquidation of fish disease, disease of crawfish and other aquatic biodiversity, and carrying out arrangements for the prevention of originating of disease transmitted to humans and animals through consumption and use as feedstuffs of fish and other aquatic biodiversity from water reservoirs under observation. Expedition keeps record of prevalence of disease and death rate of fishes, crawfish in water reservoirs under its jurisdiction, carried out arrangements and diagnostics and reports in accordance with the establishes modalities.
