Abstract

Republican (incorporated in the Russian Federation), regional, provincial antiepizootic expedition for combating fish disease is set up by decision of the Council of Ministers of autonomous republics, regional and provincial administration for ensuring permanent veterinary control of large fishing water basins, cooperative and state fish-breeding enterprises and other organizations. Expedition is a republican, regional, provincial veterinary and diagnostic institution and is under the authority of veterinary departments of the above-mentioned administrative units. The main tasks and the activity of the expedition consist in: organization and carrying out at the republican, regional and provincial level veterinary arrangements for the prevention and liquidation of the fish disease, disease of crayfish and other aquatic biodiversity as well as carrying out measures for the prevention of the origin of the disease contagious for human beings and animals by means of the use for feeding of and foraging of fish and other aquatic biodiversity originating from the water basins under their supervision.
