Abstract

With this Decree, paragraph 17, article 127 of the Food Code is replaced by article 147. Article 147 is also integrated by adding a new section (b) in paragraph 1 which provides for the definition of "saccharined fruit juices for beverages". Article 40 of the Food Code is integrated by adding paragraph 4: lemon juices for food preparation: producing and placing on the market lemon juices in which certain food additives are added, is allowed; such additives are E 200, E 201, E 202, E 203, E 210, E 211, E 212, E 213 and cannot exceed 1 percent of the total percentage of the product.
