Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

The Decree approves the Supreme Chemistry Council’s Decision by which point b, paragraph 2 of article 22 to the Food Code is amended. The amendment, taking into consideration Commission Regulation (EC) No. 466/2001 setting maximum levels for certain contaminants in foodstuffs, regards the treatment of the internal surface of food or drink containers. It should be done in such a way that the cassiterite percentage does not exceed 200 parts in the million (ppm), with the exception of the products listed down in the Annex of regulation EC 242/2004.
