Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force as from 27 July 2006.
Abstract

In order to ensure that the consumer is adequately protected from exposure to residues in and on foodstuffs resulting from plant protection products and in compliance with Commission Directive 2006/4//EC, this Decree provides for the following amendments of the current Greek legislation regarding MRLs: 1) Ministerial Joint Decree No. 290341/88 is amended as follows: the maximum pesticide residue levels for carbofuran in and on cereals, prescribed in article 1 to this Decree, shall replace those in Annex II, Part A. 2) Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95 is amended as follows: the maximum pesticide residue levels for carbofuran in and on fruits and vegetables, as shown in the Table attached to article 2 of this Decree, shall replace those in Annex II.
