Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force as from 4 December 2006.
Abstract

In order to ensure that the consumer is adequately protected from exposure to residues in foodstuffs resulting from plant protection products, this Decree provides for the following amendments of the current Greek legislation regarding MRLs: a) the maximum pesticide residue levels for isoxaflutole, trifloxystrobin, carfentrazone-ethyl, mecoprop, mecoprop-p, maleic hydrazide and fenamidone are added to Annex II, Part A of Ministerial Joint Decree No. 290341/88, as shown in the Table contained in article 1 to this Decree. b) the maximum pesticide residue levels for isoxaflutole, trifloxystrobin, carfentrazone-ethyl, mecoprop, mecoprop-p and fenamidone are added in Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95, as shown in article 2 to this Decree. Also, the maximum pesticide residue levels for propyzamide and maleic hydrazide are replaced in Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95, by those shown in the second Table of article 2 to this Decree.
