Entry into force notes
The Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

With this Decree is approved the tolerance limit for the presence of 1,4-dichlorobenzole in honey ready for consumption. The limit is hereby set at 10 microgrammes per kilogramme of honey (10 mg/kg). It is prohibited to use honey which does not comply with the above maximum value as an ingredient in the preparation of composite foods. Honey which is found to exceed the above limit shall be declared to be unfit for consumption and shall be deemed to be unsafe. The provisions of this Decree are supplementing the provisions of article 67 "Honey" of the Food Code.
