Forest monitoring shall consist of a system of observations, assessments and forecasts regarding the state of forests for their sustainable management, rational use and protection. The following shall be monitored under this Decree: (a) the state of forests; (b) forest pathologies; (c) drained forestland; and (d) forest wetlands.
