This Decree enters into force on 1 January 1999.
Abstract

Imazalil is designated as an active substance in Annex I to Legislative Decree No. 194 of 17 March 1995. The Ministry of Health will recognize an authorization to plant protection products including such substance on the basis of a dossier meeting the requirements of Annex II to Legislative Decree No. 194 of 17 March 1995. The authorization will be issued only for plant protection products containing Imazalil intended for: post-harvest treatment of potatoes, vegetables and fruit and for outdoor foliar uses only when the discharge of the processing waste does not have an unacceptable risk on the environment.
