Abstract

This Ministerial Decision aims at determining the national list of measures concerning organic production and labelling of organic products in accordance with paragraph 4 of article 41 of Regulation (EU) 2018/848 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and article 8 of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/279. This Decision applies to all the companies and groups of companies participating in activities of any stage of the production, preparation, distribution and labelling, import, export and placing on the market of organic products. The Decision provides for the classification of cases of non-compliance, based on the classification criteria defined in the European legislation, and on the level of impact on the integrity of biological product, the efficiency of traceability system and the precautionary measures, and therefore establishes sanctions by category of non-compliance.
