The Circular consists of six different points. Point 2 specifies the sectors to which the mentioned Legislative Decree No. 155 shall apply, laying down particular clarifications relating to agricultural production, honey production and eggs production. Point 3 of the Circular concerns the checks to be carried out (in accordance with the self-control system arranged by Legislative Decree No. 155) by the operators of food industries responsible for the wholesomeness and safety of foodstuffs. They may use laboratory analysis, as provided for in Point 5. Point 4 regards the non compulsory manuals of hygienic practices.
