This Regulation enters into force on 1 September 2014.
Abstract

The Regulation, consisting of 64 sections divided into eight Parts and completed by nine Schedules, amends the Marine Pollution Regulation 2006 and saves specific provisions. The Regulation is divided as follows: Preliminary (1); Adoption of Commonwealth orders (2); Control of toilet and galley waste from vessels (3); Emergency plans and other plans (4); Pollution relating to transfer operations (5); Reporting of pollution incidents (6); Certification of construction of ships (7); Miscellaneous (8).
