These provisions apply to the waters referred to in regulation 2 (2) of the Pollution Caused by Certain Dangerous Substances Discharged into the Aquatic Environment Regulations, namely inland surface waters, territorial waters and internal coastal waters (groundwater is excluded from the scope). The limit values, the time limits for compliance complied with and the monitoring procedure for discharges are specified in Annex I. Regulation 6 concerns penalties.
