This rationalization shall be implemented in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and responsible fisheries. Article 2 concerns the Register of Marine Fishermen. Further provisions regard the issue of the fishing licence (art. 4), the equipment required on board (art. 5), incidental catch of species under the minimum size established (art. 6), surveillance (art. 7).
