Other points are: Plants to be imported/exported can only be handled by the sea, land and air customs offices, selected and announced by the Ministry of Agriculture Custom authority and plants will only be allowed in after being examined by Agricultural Quarantine Organization. Plants that are not prohibited for entry should be free from diseases and pets and should be raised at locations free from diseases and pests under certification of origin and hygiene issued by plant protection units of exporting countries, and all kinds of materials used at transportation and packaging should also be free from diseases and pests. Importing party shall apply to local quarantine organization before unloading plants and products. Concerning administration or agencies will notify estimated arrival date of transport vehicles. Plants and products that are not subject to entry prohibition will be examined following the endorsement of their certificates. If no disease or pests would be found the goods will be allowed in, otherwise the goods will either be sent back to it's origin or if necessary be destroyed. Agricultural Quarantine Organization is also authorized to examine any non-agricultural product of international origin, that are likely to have diseases and pests. Importing plant products via letter is prohibited. Exported plants and products will be examined prior to loading if importing country's legislation imposes so, or when required by the exporter, and necessary certificate of origin and certificate of hygiene will be issued by agricultural quarantine organization. Products that are not dully examined and that do not have export grants can not be loaded. Transit passage of plants can only be allowed if they are free from disease and pests.
