The consolidated version of the Act entered into force on 26 July 2014.
Abstract

The list of protected autochthonous agricultural animal breeds is contained in Annex 1, while the list of those endangered is contained in Annex 2 of this Decree. Initiative for the modification of these list may be presented to the minister in charge of agricultural policy. The minister establishes the Autochthonous Farm Animal Genetic Resources Board. The conservation of these breeds may be subsidized according to the provisions of a separate decree.
