Abstract

This Decree implements Law No. CXIV of 1993 on stockbreeding. Annex 1 of the Decree lists protected indigenous animal species falling under Article 11 of Law No. CXIV of 1993 on stockbreeding. Annex 2 lists endangered species with high genetic value and falling under Article 12 of the principal Law. Initiatives regarding amendments (such as declaring additional "protected" animal species or removal of species from such status) may be taken in reasoned form with the competent ministries.
