Abstract The purpose of the present legislation is to implement the federal legislation on civil protection. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to the correct and efficient enforcement of the afore-mentioned legislation. Article 2 establishes that the Executive Council shall regulate the following: 1) Alert of the population and dissemination rules of behaviour; 2) Cooperation of civil protection organizations; 3) Measures to protect cultural heritage; 4) Vocational training of defence service personnel; 5) Organization of civil defence organizations; 6) Use of contributions; 7) Criminal prosecution.
