Abstract The present Law implements the Federal Civil Protection Act of 4 October 2002. In particular, the Law regulates the: a) execution of federal legislation on population and civil protection and protection of cultural property; b) preparation and implementation of measures to protect the population from the effects of disasters and emergencies; c) cooperation of the Canton, municipalities and partner organizations under a single management in case of necessity.
