Article 10 of the 2001 law is amended in the way that Decisions shall be taken according to the procedures prescribed in EU Council Directive 77/504/EC of 22 July 1977 on pure-bred breeding animals of the bovine species. Also, as far as import of genetic material from third countries is concerned, articles 12 and 14 of the basic law are hereby amended in the way that procedures prescribed in EU Council Directive 94/28/EC of 23 June 1994 laying down the principles relating to the zootechnical and genealogical conditions applicable to imports from third countries of animals, their semen, ova and embryos, are followed.
