Abstract The present Regulations implements the Federal Forest Act of 4 October 1991, the Federal Forest Ordinance of 30 November 1992 and the Cantonal Forest Ordinance of 30 January 1960. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to forest determination proceedings. The Cantonal Forest Office shall issue guidelines to establish whether a planted and timbered area shall be considered a forest or not. The text consists of 8 articles.
