Abstract The present Regulation implements the Federal Forest Act of 4 October 1991 and its related Forest Ordinance of 30 November 1992, as well as the Federal Act of 1 July 1966 on nature and cultural heritage protection. In particular, the Ecological Compensation Fund aims at the whole or partly financing of land clearing and impairment of habitats.
