Abstract

These Regulations amend Part I of the First Schedule, and the Second Schedule, of the Health (Antioxidant in Food) Regulations, 1973 as follows: In Column 2 of Part I of the First Schedule, the Serial Number "E 310" is inserted before "Propyl gallate" opposite the specified foods listed at (a), (b), and (c) in Column 1 of that Schedule. In the Second Schedule, the substance Calcium disodium ethylene diamene tetra-acetate, Serial No. E. 342, is inserted, and the substance Diacetyl S, 6-L ascorbic acid (Ascorbyle diacetate), Serial No. E. 303, is deleted. The Regulations implement Directive No. 81/962/EEC of 24th November, 1981.
