Abstract

The provisions of this Strategy determine the priorities and main directions of state policy and legal regulatory activity in relation to the implementation of activities in the field of hunting, as well as targets, tasks and activities for the long-term development of hunting in the Russian Federation, sustainable living and sustainable use of hunting resources, as well as to preserve their biological diversity. The Strategy shall be based upon the following principles: (a) ensuring human rights to a favorable environment; (b) management of hunting resources on the basis of their monitoring data; and (c) compliance with the balance of economic, social and environmental interests of society and the state.
