Abstract This Federal Law is aimed at implementing measures for the development of hunting in the country, as stipulated in the Strategy for the Development of Hunting in the Russian Federation until 2030. In particular, it has been established that land plots, including those from the forest fund lands and lands of protected natural areas, can be allotted free of charge on condition of tenancy as service allotments. In addition, for keeping and breeding hunting resources under semi-free conditions (captive breeding) and in artificially created habitats, it is allowed to organize wildlife nurseries, aviaries and other necessary objects of hunting infrastructure.
