The indicators shall be used in permitting the discharge of waste and wastewaters into surface waters. The concentrations provided for by the indicators (as listed in the annexes) are binding on institution involved in the decisions concerning the disposal of waste and wastewaters in surface water. The Order also provides for monitoring of the quality of surface waters. The Order is completed by the following annexes: indicators of admissible degree of contamination of waste waters; indicators of the quality of surface waters and indicators of permissible amount of substances in surface waters.
