Abstract This Proclamation enacts rules relative to the administration, protection and sustainable development of forestry and wildlife resources in Eritrea. In particular, the Act aims at: (a) the conservation of endangered species and indigenous species; (b) afforestation and reforestation; (c) establishment of a management regime of protected areas; and (d) promotion of awareness and participation in forest and wildlife management and conservation.
