Abstract

This Amendment to Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, toxins and Residues) Regulations, 2011 is issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. Hydrocyanic acid is a naturally occurring toxin. In order to protect consumers' health, the limits of hydrocyanic acid in sago, cassava flour, tapioca flour and their products are set as 10ppm.
