Abstract

These Regulations provide for the control of food business operators with respect to hygienic conditions in the production and placing on the market of food. They appoint the Food Standards Agency as the competent authority for the purposes of specified Community Regulations and make provision for the enforcement and execution of these Regulations and of the Community Regulations. Hygiene enforcement orders may be imposed on food business operators. They include: (a) hygiene improvement notices;
