Abstract The objective of these Regulations, consisting of ten sections and completed by five Schedules, is to prescribe forms and the details to be kept of premises registered under section 63 of the Food Act 1984. It establishes the requirements to be satisfied in order to obtain the authorisation to release a detained article, to carry out the necessary certificate of analysis, and the certificate of registration of food premises. For the purposes of section 40 of the Act, the required form for a certificate of registration is set out in Schedule 4 and the prescribed particulars are set out in Schedule 5.
