Regulation 4 makes provision with respect to sealing and marking of containers and packages for purposes of section 18 of the Act. The prescribed particulars that an authorized officer must endorse on the approved form accompanying a container or package containing a sample or part of a sample, for the purposes of section 18(c) of the Act, are described in regulation 5. The notice of the seizure and detention of the article given by the authorized officer under section 24 of the Act shall be in accordance with Form 2.
